Kelly Emerson is a passionate and experienced art educator with over 25 years of teaching, currently serving at Landmark Elementary. A National Board Certified teacher with advanced degrees in Education Services and Gifted & Talented Education, Kelly believes that education is freedom—and creativity is the key to navigating life with openness and joy.

Through her work with Arkansas A+ since 2012, Kelly has built vibrant, arts-rich learning environments where students are empowered to grow, explore, and express themselves authentically. She helps teachers create safe, supportive classrooms that celebrate individuality and encourage risk-taking, knowing that failure is part of the creative process—and learning to “fly” starts with freedom to try.

Kelly is deeply committed to her school community, finding pride in her students’ personal and academic growth. She believes in uplifting others, building confidence, and helping each child find their voice through the arts. Known for her love of laughter, music, and learning, Kelly brings both heart and imagination into everything she does—as an educator, a mentor, and a lifelong learner.
