Audra Norris – Arkansas A+ Fellow
Audra Norris is an imaginative and passionate educator who has been teaching for 18 years and proudly serving as an Arkansas A+ Fellow since 2016. With a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Reading, Audra brings both academic depth and creative flair to her classroom.
She currently teaches 4th grade social studies and believes that understanding the past is a gateway to the future. Her teaching philosophy is guided by one essential question: Why make learning boring? Audra uses creativity as a tool to spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and build a safe space where all students feel empowered to explore and express themselves.
For Audra, creativity is all about asking “What if?”—and she invites students to join her on an educational adventure where imagination leads the way. Through her work with Arkansas A+, she supports integrating the arts to make learning meaningful, joyful, and accessible for every learner.
