Sydney Manley – Arkansas A+ Fellow

Rooted in honesty and empathy, Sydney Manley is an A+ fellow and art educator. She is dedicated to creating classrooms where students feel safe, seen, and empowered to express their full selves. Inspired by a desire to be the person she needed growing up, she leads with compassion, creativity, and a deep commitment to community.

Sydney believes that teaching is about more than test scores—it’s about building connection, fostering vulnerability, and helping students discover who they are. Through arts integration and creative exploration, she gives learners the freedom to grow and thrive.

Sydney’s students have helped her grow into a person she’s proud to be, and her favorite moments as an educator come from witnessing the magic and transformation that art brings to life. She is especially passionate about Arkansas A+ because of the resources, experiences, and collaborative spirit it offers to teachers, students, and the broader community.

For Sydney, creativity means freedom—with no limits.
